whatisthis8175 A damn fun ride. Very intense and ripping.

H.L. Wow, this is really brutal Swedish black metal: Blasting, fast and heavy. Without virtuosity that would only be noise but in case of BLOOD OF SERPENTS this timeless style becomes the art or violence. Nevertheless I like most the slower songs: "As the Temple burns", a merciless monolithic monster track or "Prophet of a false Faith", which is more death than black metal. An album not for the weak! Favorite track: As The Temple Burns.

Matthew Rukgaber It is black metal, which is not a genre that appeals to me. But this group has the aggression of grind and so reminds me of Keitzer. It has touches of thrash like Krisiun and some Slayerish solos. This makes Blood of Serpents better than almost all other black metal, at least for my tastes. Favorite track: In Darkness Brotherhood.
